Hotel Description
The Cairo Marriott hotel belongs to the famous hotels chain of Marriott Hotels & Resorts. It had been built in 1869 on orders of Khedive Ismail (Ruler of Egypt). The purpose for that palace was to host the French Empress Eugenie who was invited along with her husband the French Emperor Napoleon. The occasion of that invitation was the opening of the Suez Canal, which was a huge project at that time. Later the hotel was converted to a modern hotel by Marriott international, The Cairo Marriott hotel is a large hotel with twin towers of 20 floors situated on the River Nile in the centre of Cairo.

The Marriot has a total number of 1089 rooms & suites, some of the suites & rooms offer a wonderful view of the Nile River.
